At MW Exchange you buy cryptocurrency for cash: you bring hryvnia or dollars to a cash desk and receive USDT or USDC in your wallet. The coins are USDT on TRC20 and ERC20 and USDC on ERC20; we don’t sell bitcoin or other coins. The form on this page prices buying USDT TRC20 for cash hryvnia in Kyiv. We don’t process card purchases automatically: a manager handles them by hand — more on that at the end.
What you can buy and where
- USDT TRC20 and USDT ERC20 — for cash hryvnia or dollars.
- USDC ERC20 — for cash hryvnia or dollars.
Buying is not open in every city with a cash desk, and not at all times. What is working right now is shown on the USDT rate page: pick a coin in the switch above the table to see buy and sell prices by city; a dash means that exchange is closed at the moment. Clicking a price puts the city and direction into the form. For dollars, see the USDT to dollar rate.
What buying costs
The price has two parts. The first is the rate: it depends on the amount, is better for a larger sum, and the form calculates the exact rate for yours. The percentage next to a price in the rate table shows its difference from the coin’s market price. The second is the fee for sending the coins to your wallet. It is fixed, differs by coin and network, and the form shows it before you order: the “Receive” field shows the amount that will reach your wallet.
So compare exchanges not by the headline rate but by how many coins reach your wallet for the same amount. Why exchange rates differ from platform prices is explained in how exchange rates are set.
The rate is locked after you order
Once you create the order, the rate is locked for five minutes and doesn’t change whatever the market does. While you fill in the form, the timer next to the rate shows when it will be recalculated. The order minimum and maximum are shown in the form. If the time runs out, just create a new order at the current rate.
Wallet and network
Before creating the order, have a wallet you control and know its network. A Tron (TRC20) address starts with T, an Ethereum (ERC20) address with 0x. The network in the order must match your address, or the coins may be lost. We send USDC on ERC20 only. If you don’t have a wallet yet, start with what a crypto wallet is and how to choose one.
How the purchase goes
- Choose the coin, network and city and enter the amount.
- Enter your wallet address and create the order — the rate is locked.
- A manager contacts you, confirms the details and agrees a time to visit the cash desk.
- You hand over cash at the desk and the coins arrive in your wallet. Check the transfer in your wallet or on a block explorer.
What to bring and how the meeting goes is covered in cash exchange: how the meeting works. For a large amount, the law may require documents on the origin of funds — ask the manager in advance.
Buying with a bank card
The form doesn’t take card payments: buying crypto with a bank card is handled by a manager by hand, who quotes the rate, limits and timing for each request. Write to the manager via the contacts on the site to find out whether it’s possible for your amount.
