At MW Exchange, a manager swaps USDC for euros by hand: there is no live rate on this page, and the manager quotes the rate, payout method and place, and timing after your request. The key thing to know up front: we accept USDC on the ERC20 network (Ethereum) only. Below: why that matters, how the USDC/EUR rate is built and how the deal goes.
USDC: ERC20 only
USDC is issued on many networks, and on several of them — Base, Arbitrum, Polygon — an address looks exactly like an Ethereum one: 0x… A wallet will accept such an address without any warning, but coins sent on another network will not arrive at an ERC20 address, and recovering them can be hard or impossible. So when withdrawing USDC from a platform, choose the Ethereum (ERC20) network, and keep a little ETH in your wallet: network fees are paid in it.
How the USDC/EUR rate is built
The same way as for USDT: the USDC price in dollars divided by the euro/dollar rate, minus the exchange’s margin. USDC stays near one dollar, but its market price can differ from USDT’s by a fraction of a percent, so the USDC rate may not match the USDT rate.
A hypothetical example (round numbers, not today’s rate): USDC at $0.9998, the euro at $1.10. The reference is about €0.909 per USDC, or about €9,089 for 10,000 USDC before the margin. Banks and trading platforms show other numbers: a bank adds its spread, a platform ignores the cost of withdrawing euros. More in how exchange rates are set.

- Say where and how you want to receive the euros.
- The manager quotes the rate, method and place, timing and the order of settlement.
- If you agree, send the USDC on ERC20 to the address the manager gives you. If not, send nothing.
Deal safety
- Start the conversation from the site, and don’t reply to “managers” who message you first.
- Take the address only from your chat with the manager and check its first and last characters.
- Never send prepayments to anyone or share your recovery phrase.
- The exchange may check where the coins came from; for a large amount, the law may require documents.
